General Return Policy

We hope you will love your pottery as  much as we do. In the event that your purchase does not meet your  expectation, we will be happy to give you a full merchandise refund  (minus shipping charges), gift certificate, or merchandise exchange.  Items must be returned with 30 days of purchase. Return shipping cost  will be at the customer’s expense.

Shipping Policy

We take great care in packaging our  pottery. However, if you find that your order has been damaged in  shipping please retain all of your original packaging and notify us  within 7 days of receiving the shipment. All in stock items will be  replaced. If items are not in stock we will work with you to find the  best substitution or make a refund.


Yes sometimes pottery does break. If  pottery is broken thru personal responsibility ( dropping, banging  against something etc.), the item will not be replaced. Remember pottery  is fired to 2100 degrees and it is a solid piece. It is physically  impossible for the pottery to spontaneously break. If you are unsure,  send me a picture and I can tell if it has been broken accidentally thru  use.

Delivery Policy

If the pieces you order are not in  stock I will e-mail you with the approximate delivery date. Keep in mind  Thor makes each and every piece, one at a time, by hand. There is no  big warehouse full of pottery! Please be patience…good things take time.  It will can take anywhere from two weeks to six months, just depending  on Thor’s schedule and what is a head of you. If you need it by a  certain date, Let me know when you order and we will do our best to get  it to you by then.

Age of the Piece

When was my pottery made? If you look  on the bottom, Thor signs and dates every item he makes. If the item was  not made in this current physical year, it cannot be returned. Unless,  we just shipped it to you and it falls in the 30 days window. Why does  this matter?  We have had instances where our items have been purchased  at yards sales or it you may have it for a while. Once it leaves our  hands, I can’t guarantee it hasn’t been dropped or damaged in some way  that may impact the quality of the pottery.
